Group Psychotherapy Services
Group psychotherapy is a great therapy format to connect and support others who are going through similar or related challenges. Often times people envision an AA style meeting, but that is not what Group Therapy is all about.
Our therapists are trained in the Boston Model of Group Therapy and work with clients in the process of mutual Aid. Some people ask, “is group therapy for me?” More often than not, you will be in individual therapy and seek group therapy as an additional service. This type of therapy connects you to other people and exemplifies the core belief of our social workers that you are the expert of your own life. People are able to share their advice with others and learn from others in the process. See our attached list of available groups and suggest your own! If we have enough interest, we can always get new groups started.
